Receiving and storing of potatoes into boxes and big bags:
This potato storing line is fitted with a DOWNS DG 200 receiving hopper with a flat part at the bottom and side extensions in order to maximize the storage capacity.
A presentation conveyor makes it possible to receive and spread the potatoes. This way, all of them will be cleaned on the cleaning module. This one is fitted with a first module with rubber stars and a second module of polyurethane coils with AUTOCLEAN automatic cleaning.
Thanks to the picking table, it is possible to remove the green, rotten and spoiled potatoes. The good product is loaded into boxes or big bags thanks to a DOWNS DF-MIXTE.

This potato storing line is fitted with a hopper designed to receive the potatoes from trailers.
A measuring conveyor makes it possible to spread the product in order to maximize the efficiency of the cleaning module (here a SCOTTS EVOLUTION). The second module, fitted with polyurethane coils, will lead the product onto an integrated clod separator making it possible to separate the clods and stones from the small potatoes.
Thanks to the picking table, it is possible to remove the green, rotten, spoiled and deformed potatoes.
Then the good potatoes are led towards the DOWNS DF MIXTE big bag and box filler.
Receiving and storing of potatoes into wooden boxes :
This potato storing line is fitted with a wide hopper with a double flat part at the bottom allowing the storage of a complete trailer.
The potatoes are cleaned thanks to a rubber star module and then a metallic coil module.
The integrated double clod and stone separator makes it possible to remove the clods and the stones from the small potatoes. The product moves towards the picking table to be inspected and then calibrated with a DOWNS DS Sizer with square screen.
At the end, the potatoes are stored into wooden boxes with a big bag and box filler DOWNS DF MIXTE.
