This potato grading line makes it possible to receive the potatoes either from trailers or from boxes.
First, the potatoes are cleaned thanks to a rubber star unit and graded thanks to a hydraulically-driven polyurethane coil unit. This unit is fitted with AUTOCLEAN for a high speed cleaning.
The smallest potatoes are separated from clods and stones thanks to an integrated double clod separator with Israelian rollers. The rest of the potatoes moves towards the picking table.
The oversized potatoes are removed thanks to a DOWNS DS PREMIUM sizer.
You can then store the potatoes either into boxes or into big bags thanks to a big bag and box filler DOWNS DF MIXTE.

From the beginning of the line, a sample system makes it possible to measure the quality of the product. Then, all the potatoes are cleaned thanks to rubber stars. The smallest potatoes are separated from clods and stones thanks to a metal coils unit before moving towards the integrated double clod separator.
Another selection will be possible thanks to a wide picking table. Then a double DOWNS DS-PREMIUM sizer will calibrate the potatoes accordingly to the selected sizes. A motorized-wheel has been specially designed to store all the rubber screens and ease their installation.
Thanks to a smart layout of the conveyor belts, it is easy to lead the product to the right place. You can there store the potatoes accordingly to their sizes, into boxes or big bags thanks to our DF-MIXTE.
Later, you can inspect the potatoes again thanks to the DOWNS DR 240 TANDEM box tipper and load them into trailers.
